The lawsuit stems from EPA director Michael Regan's service as secretary over at the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality. There are allegations that there were some inappropriate words being used of racist terms and that then Secretary Regan swept some of this under the rug. Don't know if this new development is in response to director Regan being rumored as a gubernatorial candidate or not, but it is not a good look.
