The Importance of Safety in Progress
I think it's a mistake to think of safety and progress as something that are sort of opposed to each other. Because now drugs on the market are much, much safer than they used to be. Part of the reason for that is that we do clinical trials. We don't just want any old drugs flooding the market. We actually want safe, effective drugs.
