The Self Negating Process

Tyler: Luther's interpretation of the biblical notion of pride and rebellion against God that we are intrinsically self obsessed. He experiences the self as radically folded into itself, obsessed with itself in a completely immorally self-centered fashion. So it is very much a self destructive process and I really want you to hear that self destructive process that he sees as the essence of the self.
