Rabbi: I'm happy with my shoes. When you tap me on the shoulder and say, Rabbi Lappen, we want to do a little thought experiment here. We want to figure out what they really are worth. So in this little mini, this microcosm, this economic mini world, just because two human beings acted kindly towards one another and did a transaction helping one another, the end result is the creation of $35 worth of wealth. It's not an accident that the place where that happened is called a hanut, a place of hane.
