The Death of Dora and William

Dora and William Leslie left Oklahoma briefly in 1907 when they made a trip west to Melrose, New Mexico. They lived with Dora's parents in town and proceeded to dig a dugout on the land they hoped to patent. So that's quite pioneering of them. But it does make me think that I have never really searched for a land patent application for William.
