How to Write a Book in 10 Months

I've got a borderline slight obsession with making a chapter as good as it can possibly be before I can move on. And so I guess that's why it takes me 10 months to write a book. It's not 10 months to like redraft it five or six times, you know. But what happens is with that first draft, it is generally quite up together for a first draft. The whole book is a bit like that and I write chronologically as well. So I'm definitely not one of these writers, you can go, I'm going to write the end,. You know, so it has to happen right away.
