The Pivotal Moment in Life Is Hard

The title of your book, Life is Hard. It sounds like it's tied in in a kind of a major way to this experience because you're reminded every day by the pain how hard life can be. And for me, I think the pivotal moment was when I was sort of really taking in that the pain wasn't going to go away. The key thing is to leverage one's own acquaintance with difficulty into compassion.
