All Desire the Possession of Nothing

Sa cius, the founder of the jesuit order, called this posture of the heart indifference. It is neither passive resignation, nor fatalistic acquiescence to whatever comes. Our only desire and our one choice should be this: i want what better leads to god deepening his life in me. Not believing god for the impossible, that's wonderful. But believing that no matter what happens, even if things do not work out, we have got and he's enough, and we're ok. And not even death can separate us from the love of christ.
