How to Scale Your Data Warehouse on Amazon Redshift
There was a need to provide easy way for users, you know, especially folks who are used to SQL, not to the ML so much. So Amazon Redshift introduced Amazon ML where you could create and train the models from inside Redshift itself. Then we also wanted to make Redshift more easily accessible to the users on day to day basis. And finally, here we are introducing Amazon Redshift serverless which exactly solves the problem that I mentioned. Users will not have to worry about paying it for all the time. You only pay when you use it.
