The Importance of Making a Choice

At the time, I was unsure as to what I'll get my PhD in within the field of chemistry. There's like so much you can do there. So I thought if I work as a lab tech in the field, I find interesting now, then I would figure out over time. But yeah, at the time, like you don't really know much about what the impact of the choice you're about to make will have on your life overall. It took me until I started going to conferences more and talking with other scientists to really grow that perspective over time.
