The Fed's Appetite to Maintain Stable Prices
The Fed knows that its job is to control runaway inflation. And I think that they are willing to sustain a drawdown on the equity market. We're down 10% in an index that was up almost 30% last year. That's not that big of a deal, and I think it's okay with them that that's the case.
