What's the Difference Between Small and Big Tent Approaches to Social Justice?
Bob Greene: Can you just lay out roughly that distinction and the conceptual work that goes into it? He says there's an intuitive force to the thought that when we see disparities that look like they are unjust, people at the sharp end should be given priority. Greene: But if the disparities are tightly tethered to racial categorizations, then it looks as if the way we formulate our social justice agenda is going to make sort of reference to those racial categories.
