The Role of Socialization in Confidence
Men are more likely to have an internal locus of control which means they think that outcomes around them and in their life are mostly dictated by what they do. Women think the external environment is in control of them so the man will go I'm on the golf course I must be really good at golf, he says. And again a lot of that is about how we socialize people and it's about how we what we expect from people in positions of power or anything like that.
