Is Your Book First and Pristinely About Family or Addiction?

I don't know of anyone that hasn't had someone that they love dearly or themselves that has some way struggled with the disease. It is something that ravages its families across every group but it's also the one thing that we still just don't talk about openly. There's this sense of shame and a stigma around it that even within families it's only discussed in hushed tones. And I hope this is an opportunity for people to speak out loud about it.
