The west and the chinese have a view that their syst is likely to do a better job of delivering prosperity and security. Caan wewell: The point of putting guard rails in place is so that, over the long term, we can really let the two systems compete. What i would say if i was making a big, a sort of longshot call about the long term future is that the capacity of yunited states and free economies to continue to re invent itself could well be become decisive factor in this overall strategic equation.
