The Politics of the City

The city is the primary end of the human being in a sense. We're not just supposed to survive and get our food and sustenance, but actually we're supposed to develop culture with it. In the city, you can transcend the merely natural and biological. The political is this realm, the space of for transcending; politics or the polis are his version of this.
