What's the Situation on the Ground in Afghanistan?
There is this end of conflict, but it doesn't mean lasting peace. The talaban are trying to figure out how to run a country again. Two thirds of afghans do have enough food this winter and 95 to 97% will be under poverty line next year. Five million kits are facing acute mantrition as we speak. But at the same time, you see this peaceful resistance happen by women of afghanistan who were not necessarily activists,. Activists under the republic. They were coming from different professions and backgrounds. And because they don't see a future for themselves, they come to the streets and protest.
