The Benefits of Global Diversification
I would maintain a portfolio that's probably 65% US as opposed to the, you know, cap weighted number. But I do I'm less rabid about having a global portfolio than I was 35 years ago. And part of that is some of the startups I've been involved with have been outside the US. It's hard for me to make the case that you should just be in one country because the opportunities are going to vary by country. The U.S. has more patents filed every year than Germany and China combined.
