I think it's an age-old strategy, bringing the biggest critics into the fold. So they have to abide by ministerial collective responsibility and essentially shut up. I just don't know how you can expect one Secretary of State to have a grasp on these giant issues that are facing our country. Maybe next reshuffle a new department will be created on immigration as part of Sue next saying, look, we're taking this very seriously. It's a massive brief and I'm surprised really that it all still sits under one portfolio,. especially when you have a Secretary of State like Suella Brabman who is very, very focused on one particular area.
