The Theology of Principalities and Powers

There's a lot of fascinating research that's been done on so-called principalities and powers, which at its best is not this sort of notion of demons floating around. Rather than actually serving humankind's good, they take on a power that leads us towards destruction. So much of what we perceive as our choosing really is the downstream effect of so many different choices that preceded it. And I think when we see it from that much larger level, it's a more accurate representation, really.
