Platonists' student Porphyry produced an edition of the writings. He grouped the treatises into six sets of nine and called them Aniads, meaning nines. The so-called life of Platonists is absolutely packed with memorable anecdotes. It's as invaluable a document for the birth of Neoplatonism as any of platonists' own treatise.
