Why I'm Not Trying to Slow Down AI

You said another reason that you had for not wanting to slow down AI is your parents are getting older and you're worried they won't be along for that much longer. You would really like for singularity or at least solving of aging to be fixed before that happens. I'm very much in the same boat as you. I mean, I would like for my parents to live longer, but they are in such good health and they had me fairly young. So I think they'll last a while longer, but I really would like some AI to save me personally too.
