Is the Fundoscopy a Good Correlation for Chronic Hypertension?
The value that I see of fundoscopy is that if you do not see exudates, hemorrhages, it gives you a sense that the microvascular is holding on to that blood pressure pretty well. On the other hand, if someone who's asymptomatic and I'm looking at their fundus and I seeExudates, I see hemorrhages, I may even see a little bit of papilladema, that's someone that I'm going to be very worried about.
