The Economics of Breastfeeding and Perimenopause
There's this idea that, you know, we don't want to talk about sex or the possibility of getting pregnant because it feels shameful. And I think our culture definitely one of misogyny, one of patriarchy, the desire to relinquish any control to women has been severely undermoded. It also has a lot to do with control, right? The more that we know about it, the more control we have over our ability to procreate whether we want to or not.
