Is She Supporting Social Care Financing?
I don't know what her view is on social care financing, except that my guess is she'd be quite reluctant to have a massive reopening of it right now. I think the other thing is that Truss will come under pressure from the right of her party to do things that incentivise the use of private healthcare by people who can afford it. There may well be more pressure to give them some kind of tax incentive to do that. But I think that's going to be an interesting political debate.
