What About an Ostrich Foot?
Evolution doesn't create perfection, it creates just good enough to survive. An ostrich foot looks a lot like the Paralympic prosthetic blade that athletes will use. But some of those 26 bones fused together so that we'd have more of an ostrich foot. Given technology, would we be better off if there was some intervention to make a better human foot? Sure.
