Gabeclitepe was built 12 thousand years ago by proto farmers. Stone mason made replica of a 30 leter stone vat from gabecl pe in 20 19. Team successfully cooked porridge using heated stones, and brewed aneolithic beer with hand ground germinated grain or malt. Diatrix says people at gabeclytepe knew what they were doing and what could be done with cereals.

Archaeological evidence shows that ancient people ate carbs, long before domesticated crops.

While the idea that early humans subsisted mainly on meat persists, archaeologists are increasingly understanding that ancient people have actually long been in love with carbs, even before the advent of agriculture.
