The Importance of Carbohydrates in Diet

When we ingest those carbs, they become sugar in our system. And then the insulin is going to spike to take care of that blood sugar and bring it back down. For someone who is not in optimal metabolic health, my recommendation is usually going to be under 50 grams of carbs a day. Some people respond exceptionally well to low carbohydrate diets like a carnivore diet.
