Chai: I think that where most people falter is with writing all the tests in advance. Why? Why should we write the test first? What's the value in that? Steve: TDD excels at this kind of situation because like a lot of people think you don't need to have any design upfront, nothing. You take whatever feature definition and you translate it into a test then you make this test pass.
