Protein Design Company - What's Unique About What We Do?
A lot of synthetic biology and gene editing companies do fantastic work, primarily aimed at using natural diversity genes that exist in nature. We tackle on designing a new gene, designing the sequence of a new protein that will provide a function that is not existing in existing genomes. So, how it works in practice to your question. The first thing we do is take the function that's needed with a set of requirements and specs, and translate that into a computer model of how we can achieve that improvement in the protein.
