CNN's John Sutter asked the panelists to explain why social media has become such a divisiveness. Panelist Jonathan Mann: We thought in 2011, like, wow, this is going to be democracy here on end, you know, liberal democracy won. But when things go hyper viral, that's when it changes and we all are in danger all the time of someone saying something about us. There's no bottom. That's when it's no longer playful.
