The Benefits of Using the Futures and Options Market
"The actual cash efficiency of using the futures and options market is almost like trend followers," he says. "Instead of going out and spending, you know, $150 per apple share, you can buy one apple call for 100 shares" The real professionals don't use it to be quite so reckless, but rather as a way to be more capital efficient with less money than if they were just naive long short traders.
