The Importance of Courage

When we try to come up with a unified field theory of jurisprudence, foreign policy, social policy, economics, and proceduralism, all orthogonal to one another, what I find is that the binaries we start concocting are just very polite ways of saying, well, there's a group of stupid shitbags. And it ends up being the self-serving thing. The more educated you are, the more likely you are to believe the essentialist theory. It turns out that when you make forecasts, based on the political spectrum, your forecasts are terrible.
