Data Privacy - What Are the Traditional Mechanisms?

The census bureau has had in place disclosure avoidance, or disclosure limitation, a mechanisms since many decs ago. The ones that were used up til the 20 ten senses were mostly in place. These methods consist of two types of mechanism. One is suppression and other is swapping. This results in data tables that are referred to as being swiss cheese.
