Is Direct Mind-Machine Interface a Threat?

I see a much greater potential for new forms of domination in the prospect of direct brain-machine interface. All kinds of secret agencies are working intensely on it. At an elementary level, it's already happening. And so then how are we to fight all this? Ah, now comes my final pessimism. I don't have a simple clear answer. Neither market nor state apparatuses as we know them can do the job. Voluntarism and terror. The only way to confront the threat of ecological catastrophe is by means of a large-scale collective decisions which will round counter to the spontaneous, imminent logic of capitalist development.
