Introduction
In 17 83, a group of european revolutionaries met in secret to discuss their future plans. They called themselves the "wet Wednesday society" Two members were editors and founders of a pro-enlightenment magazine at the time. One member anonymously published an essay proposing not to engage the clergy any longer when marriages are conducted. This article aimed to ask what i think is a very natural next step: Where does marriage fit into this new world?
