What Did You Make of the Platitude?
Rome is a game that, like, i think you can play if you don't know anything about rome. But it also does get into the weeds on philosophy and uncertainty,. religion and the rod of ligion. And there's one conversation in the game which is deeply philosophical. I thought that this game did a really good job of kind of, like putting meat on the bones of a of the platitude. The reason that loop games are having kind of like a retaissance and becoming more common has to do with their structure. They're essentially doing the same thing but instead of chunking them up they just keep going forward.
