Sally Kohn: There is this nastalgic impulse for recovering labor from the alienating life of machines. Some people who take the techno side of d and g in a sort of like, neutral way. But i don't think that they would want us to live in a technocratic universe where we just have more elaborate machines. She says it's not simply technical tool humans put into existence to help ourselves. It's "a totally new, bizarre thing that will just reconfigure the metaphysics of the earth as we know it"
