In both instances, it's an a, if you will, a hyper excitability. The elevated insolen levels in the blood that occur with hyper with insolem resistance are stimulating two different types of cells in the skin. On one hand, they're stimulating caratino sites, and those are the that stimulation of the caratinosite growth is what's causing the skin tags. At the same time, insolen is stimulating the production of melanin from malan cites, which is resulting in that darker pigment around the area.
