The Origins of COVID-19
When the virus broke out, what did you think back then about its origins? And how has your thinking changed in the meantime? When we first looked at it, it just seemed remarkable to us that the ground zero for the pandemic was none other than Wuhan. The city is a thousand miles from the places where the bat caves are that could be the breeding ground for COVID-19. But when we started looking at it, we felt that the actual evidence for a natural origin was surprisingly weak.
