The Chinese space agency have been operating the JU-RONG Mars rover on the surface of the planet for several years. It landed around the same time as NASA's Perseverance rover. But unlike Perseverance, JU-rong is equipped with solar panels. And it looks like this is what happened to the Mars rover. It went offline back in May 2022. We got this as part of an announcement from the Chinese space agency that they've discovered evidence of a dried up pool of water  on Martian soil. So hopefully another mission will go to the region and try to gather more information.
