What Happens to Ecological Psychology?
The mainstream of ecological psychology is people who follow Gibson's basic ideas about the structures of the environment. But there are a whole bunch of other people, and I mentioned some of them Rick Dale, Michael Spivey, Alex Paxton, Drew Abney, who aren't really ecological psychologists but are doing the dynamical approach. So they take Gibson's ideas seriously, but they don't believe the very dogmatic portions of it. And this is a problem for the ecological approach. You have to believe all of them.
