confidence is really just this successful repetition of any endeavor. You have to do it successfully and multiple times before the confidence comes right? That's such a poignant way of capturing what's missing from most people's ideas of confidence. I think the first step is the courage to take that sort of blind faith step into the unknown, and not knowing whether or not you're going to succeed.
