"Windfall" is about a company that deals with redundancy to try and save a company rather than let it go bankrupt. It's also thematic about ceo and wife's marriage, in which they left c e s kind of the the co-founder wasn't into it. "You could cast any of the three as an antagonist," says director Rit federick.
