The Benefits of Isolated Muscle Strength Training
I like compound exercises because these are the types of exercises where really we can start to create higher amounts of force and put a higher amount of stress through the body. But, you know, you can't shy away from the fact that isolated muscle strengthening is also going to have a benefit going forward into your ability to cope with running. An example being isolated car strength,. Your carbs are going to be exposed to a considerable amount of force when we run. So isolated conditioning of those muscle groups will hopefully give those structures their ability to tolerate those forces that we experience when we go out there running.
