The Importance of Honesty in Responding to Suffering
I'm just reminded of a conversation I had with a Sri Lankan christian who years ago was trying to support a christian church that had been devastated in the civil war and had seen people slaughtered terrible disaster. He said he traveled up to the north of the country where the civil war was and he's he met with the church with the survivors of this massacre that has taken place. In the second half of the day we said right how can we start to rebuild and look towards the future now it's just very struck by that.
