Climate Change - A New Material to Put on the Ocean Floor

Oceans store 16 times as much carbon as the terrestrial biosphere, and could store more if marine photo synthesizes weren't limited by nutrient availability. So bringing back this incredibly productive, iron driven eco system would have huge benefits beyond the return of the whales. And given that humans have made such a mess of managing the earth's eco systems, it might be time to restore the ocean's original farmers who managed their two thirds of the planet.
