The US Dollar Is Losing Market Share as a Reserve Currency
The US dollar's dominance as a reserve currency eroded last year at 10 times the pace seen in the past two decades, according to an analysts' report. The authors of that report are Stephen Jenner and Stephen Yen, who both worked for Morgan Stanley during the 2008 financial crash. This is not simply something that is being said by anti-imperialists, by leftists, or people critical of neoliberalism and capitalism," says Julian Zelizer. "This is all an economic reflection of the political shifts"
