The Chikirub Impact Event or Decantraps Volcanism?

At that time, the Indian subcontinent was not attached to Eurasia. You would not need an impact event half the world away for the dinosaurs to die off. So there has been a big battle going on for the longest time as to what killed off the dinosaurs. Was it the chikirub impact event or was it the decantraps volcanism? Most likely it was a combination of both factors.
