The Mystical Union With God in Lutheran Proclamation

The union with God theme just shows up everywhere. But when I start to read a lot of modern Lutherans, they don't ever talk about it. So I began an exploration which eventually led me to my my dissertation. It was why did this teaching of union with Christ disappear in Lutheran proclamation? Because it hasn't everywhere.
